When the transfer is complete, the content on the destination hard drive will be replaced with the content from the source hard drive. This data includes your saved games and Xbox LIVE downloads. When the transfer is finished, the content on the source hard disk is erased.

The transfer process can take more than 60 minutes, depending on the amount of content on the source hard drive.
The Xbox Dashboard is not available during the content transfer.
If the transfer is interrupted for any reason, your content will remain on the source hard drive. You may restart the transfer process anytime until the process is complete.
To remove your Xbox 360 hard drive
1.Turn off your Xbox 360 console.
2.Locate the hard drive on the top of your console (or on the left side, depending on how your console is oriented).
3.Press the release button on the hard drive.
4.Lift the hard drive away from the console.
To attach your hard drive

2.Position the back of the hard drive against the back of the hard drive bay.
3.Push the front end of the hard drive down until it clicks in place.
